What do we do?
It is undeniable that rock and roll is much more than a simple musical style, for many people it is a way of life. The fact is that for decades rock has been influencing the daily lives of people around the world, an influence that transcends the domain of musical expression and expands into the most varied areas, such as fashion, graphic arts, poetry, photography, performing arts and even philosophy and politics. Perhaps this ability to influence culture so deeply is rock's greatest legacy, and certainly one of its most admirable qualities.
Gyn Rock City is a cultural initiative that aims to help promote and publicize the rock and roll scene in the city of Goiânia, it is a modest way of offering our contribution to this artistic phenomenon that brings us so much pleasure.
Friedrich Nietzsche once said that “without music life would be a mistake”, obviously he was right, but we believe that if the great German philosopher had known rock 'n' roll, his phrase would probably be more like, “without rock life would be boring as fuck!”. Long live Rock 'n' Roll! 🤘
